Get an insight into how a conversion could expire
1. Decommissioning:
- Open the tank, pump out residual oil and dispose of it
- Drain and dispose of leak warning fluid
- Remove or close all pipes: venting, filling, supply and return from the heating system
- Cleaning, degreasing and degassing the tank
2. Curing of the applied GRP full coating with sealing by supplying hot air:
3. Finished GRP full coating with special sealant for water in a disused underground tank.
After this coating and sealing, the tank can be used as a domestic water cistern.
